xSQL Data Compare

Generate Synchronization Script

In the comparison results window you will notice an “Sync” column and you will also notice that all tables that were found to have differences in the data have been automatically selected for inclusion in the synchronization script. You can however easily change which tables should or should not be included in the script by checking or un-checking the Sync checkbox.

Not only can you include and exclude tables from the synchronization script but xSQL Data Compare allows you to select which rows you may want to include or exclude. A "sync" checkbox next to each row on the "Different Rows" tab, "Left Rows" tab and "Right Rows" tab allows you to include or exclude certain rows.

Once you have made your selections you can generate the synchronization script to either change the database on the right of the comparison to make it the same as that on the left or the other way around. To generate the script you can either click on one of the two "Generate Script" links on the "Synchronization Script" floating pane or by clicking on the "Synchronize Data" item on the context menu of the comparison results grid.
