One of the key features of xSQL Object is the ability to compare the schemas of two SQL Server databases or just selected objects within those databases.
There are two ways to perform a comparison - you can use the
compare wizard (the first item under the Compare menu) or start a
"no-wizard" comparison. The "no-wizard" comparison can be invoked
either by clicking on the Compare Databases icon
on the toolbar or by clicking on the "Compare
Databases" item under the Compare menu.
Whether you use the comparison wizard or perform a "no-wizard" comparison, in most cases you only need to select the databases you wish to compare and proceed with the comparison. However, xSQL Object allows you to customize the comparison by choosing what types of objects you want to include in the comparison, exactly which objects you may want to include or exclude, as well as by turning on and off a wide array of options that determine how the objects will actually be compared.
