Why notifications via RSS Feeds ?

So, who needs an notification via an RSS Feed when SQL Server notification services provide multiple ways of delivering important SQL Server notifications to the device of your choice? Well, often times the quest is to provide a better way of doing things not necessarily provide a way to do things that are not being done. In that regard we thing that an RSS feed provides a better way to receiving and organizing SQL Server notifications, and there is more, as you will read below we have "extended" the concept to allow you to get not just SQL Server notifications but really any information out of SQL Server in the form of a standard RSS feed directly to any connected device.

RSS Reporter for SQL Server

RSS Reporter for SQL Server allows you to generate standard RSS feeds containing information regarding SQL Server jobs like the current status of the job, job details, historical status; feeds containing information generated by ad-hoc T-SQL queries as well as feeds that contain SQL Server database size and space allocation information.
